I don’t have a card. How can I try the app?

A sample card is coming soon.

How do I scan a code?

Open Birvera and tap Read. Fit the whole code in the frame, use plenty of even light and hold the phone steady. If there is glare, tilt the phone slightly; don’t use zoom. You can also choose a photo you took earlier. No internet needed.

The card is worn or a piece is missing

Scan the piece you have; if you have another piece or a copy, add it with Add another piece and the app joins them. The result depends on how much of the card can be read.

How do I print a card?

Print the PDF or PNG at 100% scale (“Actual size”). Turn off “Fit to page”: a resized code may not read. Matte paper works better than glossy paper, which can cause glare. If you use a print shop, ask them not to change the scale.

Colour or black and white?

If you have a colour inkjet printer, the colour card is fine. For a laser printer or a photocopier, choose Black & white printer when you create the card: the code then uses only black and white. Even on a colour laser printer, black and white is more reliable. The emergency card is black and white by default.

Is reading free?

Yes. Reading is always free and works offline. For creating, you get one free code a month (up to 15 seconds); paid options (a single code or unlimited monthly) add longer sound and a print-ready PDF. Prices are shown in the store.

Is the emergency card free?

Yes, always, and it doesn’t count toward your monthly free code.

How do I restore my purchases?

There is no Birvera account; your purchases belong to your Apple ID or Google account. On a new phone, sign in with the same store account, open Options and purchases in Birvera and tap Restore purchases.

How do I cancel my subscription?
  • iPhone: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Birvera → Cancel Subscription.
  • Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Birvera → Cancel subscription.

Menu names may vary slightly by system version. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription; after cancelling, it stays active until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play.

Where is my data?

On your phone and on the cards you print. Details: Privacy Policy.
